Cosmopolitan attitude by Wolfgang Hock I am in favor of a cosmopolitan attitude considering the whole globe as home, looking upon the term of “nationality” as absolutely antiquated and backwardly, standing up for open borders and free mobility together with the right to free access to knowledge, communication and cultural assets, and on the other side battling against any kind of repression and intolerance, peer pressure and religious restriction.
Catering to the discussion in Germany: Germany doesn’t abolish itself with this, quite the contrary, it can only gain in every way by the construction of a multicultural society with integration on both sides, i.e. also the Germans need integrate the “foreigners” and accept many different languages spoken in their country. Put away this wrong anxiety (German angst) !
